Listings quality scores are rated as a percentage and are a guideline for helping you to create better quality listings that appeal to site users. The higher the quality score, the better your listings ranking will be.
Listing quality scores contain the following components:
Verification - having your listing verified (as and where applicable) will not only increase the quality score of your listing, but will also make it more appealing to site users. Listings that are eligible for verification will have the "submit for verification" link within the quality score box. Click here to find out all you need to know about getting your listings verified.
Photos - Images are the first visible thing about a listing. Make your listing stand out by having the images capture a comprehensive overview of the property being advertised. Each property type and size will have a different required number of images to gain the full quality score, as outlined below:
Residential Listings (minimum number indicates minimum required to gain the maximum quality score)
Commercial Listings (minimum number indicates minimum required to gain the maximum quality score)
Title - Include a title with a length of between 30-50 characters to gain the maximum quality score.
Including valuable information in the title will make consumers more likely to click through and find out more.
Use your characters wisely to really grab the user’s attention.
Be sure to mention the key attributes, such as ‘price reduction’, ‘landscaped’, ‘sea view’ ‘maid’s room’, ‘study’ and the number of cheques required are examples of good content to grab a quality lead.
Description - Include a description with a length of between 750-2000 characters to gain the maximum quality score.
The description of a listing is your opportunity to describe the property, and to help your listing be found by consumers as our keyword search uses the description section. Be sure to mention the key features such as the view, the landscaping or the proximity from local amenities.
Location
Our users are more informed than ever before, and they know that location matters, so help us help you by giving us more information on the location of the property listing.
Duplicate Photos - As much as it's important to include the correct number of images, the content of the images is equally important. Make sure that each image you add to the listing is unique to create a great user experience and allow you to include a comprehensive overview of the property you are advertising.
Photo Size - We can't argue with the phrase "quality over quantity". Having the correct images is important, but making sure the images are high quality is imperative to the user experience.
Images sized at or around 800 x 600 will ensure they are clearly displayed across all our platforms (web, mobile and app).

The listing quality score plays only one part in positioning listings in the search results pages, which is ultimately defined by our ranking algorithm, however ensuring you have listings with good quality scores will significantly improve your chances of gaining a higher ranking.
